What this is

Specialist one-to-one tuition, individually planned around your child, delivered by a qualified teacher with a background in child psychology.

What this is not

This is not therapy, counselling, or clinical treatment. Where a child would benefit from clinical input, we will say so and help you find the right professional.

Specialist, psychology-informed 1:1 support for children aged 7 to 13, from those who simply want extra academic support or 7+, 9+ and 11+ entrance exam preparation, through to children with SEN, anxiety, or neurodivergent profiles. Fully individual curriculum, weekly or fortnightly sessions, and a calm human presence throughout.

Who it's for

  • Children who want extra academic support, homework help, or a boost with school subjects
  • Children preparing for 7+, 9+ and 11+ entrance exams
  • Anxious learners who freeze, refuse or shut down when tutoring feels too much
  • Autistic, ADHD, dyslexic and PDA profiles supported without masking
  • Children who need a fully individual curriculum, not a one-size-fits-all approach

Outcomes we aim for

  • Steady academic progress in a calm, individually planned way
  • Confidence in the subject and in themselves as a learner
  • Practical strategies to unstick when work feels hard
  • Regular written parent updates so you always know where things stand
Specialist expertise

Qualified teacher, psychology graduate, and award-winning specialist educator.

Ruby Klineberg is a qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status and a BSc Psychology (Hons), and winner of London Teacher of the Year 2021. With ten years working with children and young people across the UK and internationally, she supports both how a child learns and how a child feels.

Qualified teaching background

Classroom and specialist experience across London schools brings clear knowledge of progression, assessment, school expectations, and age-appropriate teaching.

Psychology and child development

A background in psychology supports careful attention to motivation, confidence, emotional regulation, and how each child feels safest and most ready to learn.

Additional needs and neurodiversity

Sessions are adapted for neurodivergent learners and children with additional needs, without lowering expectations or making a child feel singled out.
