We keep Villo as light as possible. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not embed third-party marketing or tracking pixels.
Strictly necessary storage
- Sign in and session: when you use the Villo platform, we store your login session in your browser so you stay signed in and your account stays secure.
- Site preferences: small amounts of storage used to remember settings you change on the page.
No consent is required for these under UK PECR, as the service cannot work without them.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the public website, for example which pages are visited and on what kind of device. It is not used inside your child's records, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by using your browser's tracking protection.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies or remarketing tags.
- No Meta Pixel or similar social tracking pixels.
- No selling or sharing of your data for marketing.
If this changes
If we add further non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent before they are set and update this page to list them, with the name, purpose, provider and duration.
